Working the late shift...

When I worked a third shift I was sitting at a computer for most of the shift. For me if I got and took a walk around the office about once an hour that helped keep my energy level up.

I've been walking around, I think tomorrow I'll start sitting outside a little while, when I get a chance. Some fresh air couldn't hurt either.

Day two, getting a little easier. I was able to fall right to sleep when I got home last night around 5:30 am and woke up around 11:30. I expect the same tonight. trying to regulate my caffine intake and had two clementines for a Vitamin-C jolt. seems to have helped but eye lids getting heavy again.

I have to thank the girlfriend for my ipod classic. Watched Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels during my extended free time.

Lock Stock is one of the most brilliant movies ever. You walk around at all? you sitting most of the time there?

Bump.

Need some more advice:

I'm working till 3am on Friday night but I have Volunteer work in Cincinnati tomorrow from 9am till noon.

Should I take, what would equate to a 3 hour nap then get ready to go or take in a bunch of caffeine and crash when I get home...

I also have a poker game that night at 9pm, think I might be an easy target by the end of the night.

You're screwed.

I don't know what to tell you. If you caffeine up you're never going to make it through the poker game.

If you try to nap but don't get to sleep, you'll probably crash during the volunteer work.

Since you are close to the great state of KY, just go with meth. That'll keep you going for awhile.

take the sleep, it's better than nothing. I function daily on about four to four and half hours of sleep... in bed about 10p and up at 230a... I grab a 15 minute power nap on my break at about 930a... maybe it's because I'm used to it cuz I do it everyday but 3-4 hours of sleep can be enough...
