Heisman
After reading thread on biggest buckeye plays got to thinking about the flip side. What are the most disappointing plays?

-nate salley step late vs texas.
-going three and out late vs scum 03.
-sparty ends perfect season.
-2nd half of florida title game.

misery

Every play after the first in the BCS championship game.

Robert Reynolds acting like a coward.

Nate Clements getting burned repeatedly against Minnesota in 2000.

Nate Clements et al. acting like chumps against Wisconsin in 2000 on the "W"

Shawn Springs choking against Tai Streets

How About Bellsari's Interception In The Outback Bowl That Led To A Last Second FG Win For South Carolina
That sucked big time but I always blamed the call on that one.....I thought it was a terrible call to begin with we had time....no need to go for the homerun ball.

As far as my lowest.....the Florida game is tops that I can think of and then like Grad said all those loses to Meatchicken in the 90's.

It's good to be a Buckeye and there's not too many bad memories, but here are my least favorite plays:

Hamby dropping the TD vs. Texas...that was rough.

The last play of Woody Hayes' career.

Desmond Howard returning a punt on us to secure the Heisman.

Bobby Carpenter breaking his leg on first def. series vs. Michigan.

Every down of the Florida game.

Only the 2nd half disappointed you? I was unhappy every play once it turned 7-14. That was easily the most disappointing game I've ever witnessed. Also I don't blame Salley for the Texas game, in my opinion the Hamby drop was most disappointing, anyways though, I think that entire last 4:30 minutes or so was just a disappointing... Vince's drive, Zwick's fumble, the safety... we just completely fell apart.

As for other great disappointments, let me just reiterate what everyone, mainly grad, has already stated; almost every Michigan and bowl game in the 1990's. From the earliest that I can remember:

1994 Penn State - Slaughter... might just be the worst loss in Buckeye history... second to the 0-86 scUM game of 1902. I just remember how upset my dad was throughout the game, and how we didn't watch any news for the entire next week.
1994 Alabama - Shelton Williams, and falling short with about 2:30 minutes to play.
1995 Michigan - Bitchabatuka...
1996 TenneCHEAT - How about their RB going for over 100 yards rushing and receiving... a feat that was repeated from the '95 Citrus by Shelton.
1996 Michigan - ...
1997 Michigan - Woodson...
1998 Florida State - Slaughtering... and poor Lumpkin
1998 Michigan State - Beh... was the former crown holder of the most disappointing game for me as a buckeye fan until this past January.
1999... Pretty much the entire season...
2001 South Carolina - Damn field goal...
2002 - ABSOLUTLEY NO DISAPPOINTMENTS!!! HAHAHA, THE BEST YEAR EVER!!
2003 Wisconsin - Gamble gets torched by Evans...
2003 Michigan - Perry...
2004 Northwestern - OT loss snapped our 24 game win streak over the Wildcats, which was the modern day record for the Big Ten; most consecutive wins over a conference opponent.
2004 Iowa - Was 3rd on my list until this past January...
2005 Texas - Just the outcome of the game, otherwise I loved it, what a matchup of two of college football's all-time titans.
2005 Penn State - Former runner up to '98 Michigan State...
2007 Florida - Obviously #1....

Man those stupid games sucked badly... here's to nothing else in '07 making this list!!! :oh:
