THINK, Before You Speak
Former College Pick'Em Champ
Tonight made me proud to be a baseball fan. Incredible night with incredible games. Congrats to the Rays and Cardinals for moving on. BUT more importantly thanks to the Yankees, Orioles, and Phillies for playing the game the way its suppposed to be played all the way to the end, regardless of what it means to "YOU."

I think it gets lost sometimes, but seriosly, these guys ALL play for pride, and for Love Of The Game.

Peace

there is no doubt this was a baseball purist's dream night.

Having grown up in Baltimore as an Oriole fan, I have been largely soured on baseball the past 30 years with Peter Angelos running a once dominant franchise into the ground. But watching the O's celebrate the accomplishment of finishing strong was a really pleasant surprise.

When played hard and well, MLB is a great game to watch.

That was unfuckingbelievable.

The Rays were a strike away from losing in the bottom of the 9th, and won. The Sox were a strike away from winning in the bottom of the 9th, and lost. Kind of a fitting end to each team's September.

At least the games tonight made up for what Reyes did. Can't believe the Cards somehow managed to get in the playoffs.

Red Sox flat out Bucknered the whole season away.

Wish I would've stayed up for this. :( Rays were down 7-0 late, and Sox were up 3-2 in the rain delay, so I decided to go to bed, thinking that the best case scenario for a Sox hater would be that they lose and we have a one-game playoff.

I hadn't watched any baseball in a long time - hardly saw any games all season. I tuned in with the games in doubt, saw the BoSox blow the lead, saw the Rays win it in extra innings, and that Atlanta had also blown the wild card.

I saw most of the excitement last night, and didn't feel like I'd missed anything by not watching the previous 6 months.

You live in Cubs Land. You haven't missed anything by not watching in over 100 years.
