Why all this transfer talk? Are we assuming JT Barrett is going to come in and be a Heisman contender, bc Braxton is just that when healthy, a top 5 heisman contender. Lets save the potential transfer talk to we even see how Barrett does, for all we know Cardale could still outplay him for the spot or something.

Not to keep the transfer talking continuing, but if he graduates, he doesn't have to sit out a year. Whether he gets a medical hardship or just a normal redshirt, it'll still play out the same in regards to his four years of eligibility. If he stays, I don't think Urban let's him transfer. Urban will do what he needs to do to persuade him to stay. As for Barrett, it could be frustrating, but Urban will make him see he was going to have a shot at starting for three years either which way. It'd just be one and then two after a year off instead of three straight years.

I think it'd behoove Brax to stay, I can't see his draft stock looking very well after this. Hope all goes well with his recovery and we see him in scarlet and gray in 2015.
