WR Dane Sanzenbacher (Official Thread)

Favorite Buckeye ever.

He is one of the best. My all time favorite might be Mike Lanese:

Former Buckeye football captain Mike Lanese holds his own personal place in the history of the Ohio State-Michigan rival. His clutch third-down catch in the 1984 game helped the Buckeyes get a win in The Game.

He done something no other buckeye football player has ever accomplished: Rhodes Scholar

Great catch at the end of the game. Whatever Dane lacks in measurables, he makes up for in heart and other "un-measurables". THE GAME week. Senior Day. Can't believe this will be the last time we'll see Dane at home as it seems like he just got here.

Yeah that catch by sanzo was great and it almost is on the same level as the one catch that was made by Gonzales in the 2005 michigan game. We have been blest with so many good wide-outs at Ohio State. I could go on and on but we will miss sanzenbacher and he really has taken some hits in
his 4 years. He really has shown some true grit in so many of the brutal hits on him.

What about Anthony Gonzalez?

I believe that Anthony Gonzalez was a Rhodes Scholar candidate; however, he wasn't selected for an actual scholarship.
