WR DeVier Posey (2017 Grey Cup Champion and MVP)

I have to agree also... sooner or later he's going to be #3. What stuck out the most about Posey was his size. When I saw #8 on the field I seriously was like "who the hell is that, he's huge" and then I would remember who it was. His type of size and speed will be hard to match this season by any team I think. I'd like to see less of our running backs in a 5 WR set and more true WR's, and I believing letting our TE's/RB's be 2 of the 5 recievers really hurts us from a threat standpoint.

I'd love to see Robo, and Posey out wide with Hartline, Small, and Sanzenbacher/Thomas on the inside of them. That would be very hard to match.

I concur with Oregon. He is the complete package at WR and the most well rounded looking talent/size wise since.

I have to heap on the love as well! Size, speed, hands, etc. It is great to see a fast start to Posey's OSU career. I also like to see the initial validation of what we heard from recruiting and practice demonstrated in live action. Keep it going DeVier.

welcome to calling sports Marty Jr. Pay attention next time.

It wasn't easy to spot the TD call on that play. The only ref that gave the TD signal was reacting to the defender rolling into his legs at the time, so he bent over right away. But it did take Mr. Announcer quite a while to ID Posey as the receiver, so the call was rather poor.

Does anyone know how much Devier's brother, Julian, plays for OU? It would be interesting to see the two brothers match up next week.

He was not listed as a starter but Julian's participation v. Wyoming, according to official stats, #9 Julian Posey was credited with one tackle in the 2nd quarter on a 9 yard completion, one assist and one pass break up.

If the brothers do "match up" it should make for some interesting conversation especially if the game gets out of control and Pam Ward needs to get creative and emphasize/exploit the human interest angle to hold the viewer attention of a national audience.
