WR DeVier Posey (2017 Grey Cup Champion and MVP)

I would really like to see him kick this class off to a start. A WR class of him, Cordale Scott, and Stoneburner would be fantastic. Of course you make room for a guy like Floyd, but I would be just fine with these three Ohio studs.
Get the ball rolling DeVier!

Devier Posey said:
"My favorite school right now is Ohio State." said Posey, It's about a 90 percent chance I will go there."

"Columbus is a hour and a half drive from Cincinnati." he said, "I made it to Columbus last year at a bowl game practice. I like Ohio State's facilities and acedemics. They have a good sociology and business programs."

If only Cincinnati fans were as big fans as Devier. I'm speaking generally, of course. It's just that I wish we had a more strong support in the Queen City.

didn't you read the article that made the point that any lack of Buckeye support in the queen city is a fabrication of the media? Believe me, there are more Buckeye fans in SWO than you think...why the need to make this a border skirmish? I have found non-OSU fans in every part of the state...not just Cincy.

I'll take your word for it, H&G. The media is almost all I've got. All the friends I have from Cincy are also from OSU, so it's hard to tell. Why would the media paint Cincy as anti OSU in your opinion?

I'm not so sure it is a media fabrication. Most people in Cincinati are either a UC or XU fan for the most part. This isn't to say that there are no OSU fans (by any means) but it seems most follow XU or UC for basketball, and mainly care about the Bengals when it comes to football. I would say however that OSU would be the most popular college football team in Cinci, but college football doesnt seem like as big of a deal as NFL or college basketball.

I'll back up what H & G said. There are tons of OSU fans in Southwestern Ohio. No, its not like Columbus, but its not South Bend or Lexington either. IF people around here watch college football (many don't, and just stick with the Bengals), they are generally either OSU or ND fans, with OSU having many more fans.

People do like UC, Kentucky, and XU, but that is generally basketball only.

EDIT: Does anyone know if he is related to the Posey that played basketball at XU recently?

I remember reading an article having said that he has two older brothers. I think one goes to OU and I can't remember where the other one went, but it could be Xavier. I know he and his family lived in Cali for quite some time as well.

I lived in Cincy for a few years (late '90s) , and I can say that while there are definately plenty of Buckeye fans in SWO the level of buckeye support is far less than in Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, (can't speak for Toledo area.)

Part of greater cincy area is Northern Kentucky...who identify more with SEC than Big Ten.
