WR Grant Schwartz (official thread)

Phx,
I'm going to see his Dad today (Lagunasurf) and see if he can get some game film from the coaches. I'm hoping that he'll be able to get those to Mililani so he can upload them on the board. Peterson is suppose to be at the school today. Hopefully with an offer:)

I don't mind Bellisarri comparisons...as in, Steve Bellisarri was a poor man's Grant Schwartz! You never know what some of these kids are going to end up playing in college....Ted Ginn at WR before CB, Everett starting at CB, Cie Grant's career, etc...it's really hard to gauge whether Henton is going to be a player or not....wouldn't hurt anything a bit if Schwartz was the dual-threat QB of the future, or at least got some looks.

incredible

:osu: Oh how I love your posts! :wink2: "Pete" actually showed up yesterday and spent about an hour with Grant's HC. Apparently it went real well. He told Grant's coach he wouldn't be here if Grant wasn't a priority. Didn't really expect an offer though it would have been nice. The HC didn't have film ready for him so that's kind of a bummer since Grant has 437 yards in total offense in Friday night game with 265 passing and 172 rushing in his last game alone. We'll get the film out to the coaches ASAP. Some loose ends to tie up in the way of completing some make-up work and getting the ACT results on his transcript (should've been there already:( ) But that's not a problem. With only one safety spot this year tOSU is being picky and making sure all their ducks are in a row. As much as we'd like the offer now, it's understandable. Grant will keep working and do what he needs to do regarding the loose ends and hopefully something good will happen.
