WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (2022 Rose Bowl MVP, Seattle Seahawks)

Those 300 passing yards were definitely earned I think. PSU’s secondary looks fast as hell

This was actually a very good pass defense. Allowed less than 200yds/gm, 5.6yds/pass, has 10INTS, and QBs averaged less than 60% completions. And even more important, they've only allowed 5 passing TDs so far this year!

You can tell the type of coaching Hartline provides. They don’t jaw jack, they don’t get down on themselves, they show toughness and professionalism with the handshakes.

IDK if that's coaching or just the personalities of the players. Because Jameson Williams definitely talked when he was a Buckeye, and I swore that Wilson was going back and forth as well. But they still all produce, show toughness and professionalism.

That was my impression, I've watched PSU quite a bit this year and at the very least, their pass defense was legit. JSN had a damn nice game and stepped up big time.

Whoa whoa, you may need to clarify that statement, because Olave Wilson has looked like the best WR with Wilson Olave slightly behind, and then JSN. And there's not a big gap between the 3, but Olave Wilson is the WR alpha

I think the alpha WR is a pecking order issue:

Alpha WR 1.a: Olave = Senior
Alpha WR 1.b: Wilson = Junior
Alpha WR 1.c: Smith-Njigba = Sophomore

Williams recognized it and knew he wasn't one of the top 3 WRs anymore; which is why he transferred. Anyone of the 3 would be THE alpha WR on most other teams. Olave may be recognized as #1 due to his seniority and the fact that he will break Ohio State's all time record for receiving TDs this season. If the game is on the line and we desperately need a reception to win I wouldn't hesitate to throwing the ball to anyone of the three.
