WR Mylan Graham (Official Thread)

Welcome to the fam Mylan! Kid is an absolute stud, if not for JJ Smith, this would be the WR alpha for 2024 and it wouldn't be close! Has blazing speed but doesn't rely solely on that, as his route running is also elite and he's a YAC monster! His comp on 247 is CeeDee Lamb, I also see some Joey Galloway in his game myself. But regardless,
Another massive get from Hartline

While Hartline handled a large portion of Graham's recruiting, Ohio State offensive quality control coach Devin Jordan also deserves credit for his role in helping to land Graham.

After missing out on several high-end targets in the 2023 class, Ohio State seems to have massive momentum on the recruiting trail at the moment.

"Love everything about them," Graham told 247Sports. "Nice air-raid offensive scheme, love [wide receiver] Coach [Brian] Hartline, great football program I can trust to develop me close to hom

Allen Trieu, national recruiting analyst for 247Sports, provided this scouting report on the newest member of the Buckeyes recruiting class.

"Longer frame with good weight on him already and still room to grow," Truieu wrote. "Shows very good acceleration which serve him well on YAC as well as in the return game. Gets off the line quickly and has suddenness and twitch in his route running. Shows ability to high-point the ball and catch it away from his body. Looks like a high-end prospect who can be elite. Does not show glaring weaknesses but has to continue to polish technical skills and get stronger while working on his blocking. Will have to adjust to college competition because he does not face other players of his ability level in the high school level. Should be an impact college player and potential early draft choice."

Great feet

Analysis

Footwork is so important from the position, and Graham shows that he has some very good feet. He uses it to his advantage and often gets defenders to take bad angles because of it.

Shifty

Analysis

Graham’s feet play into a part of this, but he glides across the field. He’s able to change direction extremely easily and it is not easy to corral.

Elite speed

Analysis

Watching his tape, Graham’s speed sticks out immediately. His first highlight is a short pass that he takes 90+ yards to the house. He can make an electric play from anywhere on the field, and most defenders have a tough time running with him.

Route running

Analysis

Graham isn’t the best in this department, and it has to do a lot with the attributes above. He hasn’t needed to develop this part of his game due to his high-level athleticism. There is no one better in the business to teach than offensive coordinator Brian Hartline, so expect this area of his game to improve with time.
