WR Taurian Washington (official thread)

UM fans seem to think all he is waiting on is Dionte Allen to commit to UM and he will do the same. Anyone have any idea if OSU would once again be the favorite if they offer, sounds like we would have some ground to make up.

No i think he's done, he'll go to Michigan. Maybe as early as this upcoming week.
UF,
With Washington looking to be a longshot and most other WR's looking at other schools who does tOSU think they have a shot with? It just seems like they are letting all the WR prospects go to other schools by not giving them an offer.

Hard ot believe Michigan brings in Webb, Clemons, Washington AND Hemingway after the year they had last year with Mathews and then Maningham/Svoy the year before. Do you think it opens the door for Hemingway to OSU (since he is stopping by for a visit)??

Good question, to be honest I'm not sure what OSU's WR recruiting strategy is, I think they wanted to see kids at camp and make offers there, but again who knows.

I wouldn't mind Clifford getting a shot at WR either. If he comes.

I think the WR recruiting strategy is a bit of a mystery right now. Washington is a great player to pass on offering and same goes for Sukay. I hope we really have an ace up our sleeves if we pass on offering both these great WR's.

Aaron Johnson from Louisiana seems like a wide reciever that we have a great shot at getting. He seems to not like LSU very much and is a strong lean towards OSU. He has a very impressive offer list. I wish we would get a big wide reciever. Dang, it stinks Josh Chichester couldn't make it in. Anyways, back to Taurian.

Edit-This was in response to someone wondering what recievers we were targeting since it seemed like we were losing out on others.

I don't have any problem with the guys that the staff brings in at receiver. It seems Hazell really knows what he is looking for.

I think it says alot about where they stand or guys they are still tracking under the radar, when they let guys like Sukay, Washington, and basically Clemons go without offers.

Just remember Robiske and how they waited till the last minute and now look what that 2 star recruit has been doing since he got here. He is ready to step up and push for that #3/4 receiver in only his second year.
