WR Ted Ginn, Jr. (Official Thread)

which makes me wonder why he only gets one or two touches a game. I think he needs to touch the ball a little more. Imagine how good he'll be once he figures out how to play college football...scary.

I for one, hope he stays on offense. If he improves his route running and hands he could be unstoppable! I know he is a helluva DB but with the guys we have over there now and the recruits coming in, I would rather see him taking it to the house for the offense every week.

great call wadc. We need to take the wraps off this guy. Make sure he gets the ball in his hands a lot more....because this guy is explosive.

He's more valuable on defense. If you've seen him play CB, he's shut down every receiver he's ever faced, including the guys at the Army All-American Game who were talking crap about how they wanted to show him up. That having been said, I think he can still play a fair amount of offense, but certainly not offense only.

I agree. There's a premium on shutdown corners.

We've just hit the repeat button on the Gamble conversation from last year.

All things being equal - if one player is both a sutdown corner and gamebreaker receiver - he's more valuable as a corner.

Right now we can have the depth at CB to allow him to play at WR - but we will have less depth at CB next year, and I'm inclined to believe that Ginn could beat out whatever competition he faces at the boundary corner position.
