He made a bunch of foolish/selfish decisions that have an entire program in jeopardy, cost a beloved coach, and eventually probably an entire staff, his/their job. "Mistakes" are accidents. Terrelle knew full well what he was doing was wrong, and did it anyway. I don't wish him any ill will, but I'm not a Terrelle Pryor fan anymore...that's for sure.

While I don't disagree with the emotion, JT was a 50 year old who decided to turn a blind eye to what he knew was wrong.

I wonder if he recruited the kid so hard because he wanted to keep him away from Rich Rod and Joe Pa, more than how he saw him fitting into the OSU program. As miserable as those Michigan teams were, putting Terrelle in their backfield would have added one or two more Ws each year IMO and at least one of them would have been at the buckeye's expense.

1. To the extent anyone is "enriched" by Big College Football, it's mostly the coaches. The rest of the money doesn't go to "the NCAA," which has an annual budget of about $750 million - which sounds like a lot until you realize there are nearly 1,300 member schools, so about $600,000 per school. 2. At Ohio State, after coaches and administrators are paid and debt service addressed, the remaining funds go primarily to scholarships in our many varsity sports.

The most important beneficiaries of Big College Football are athletes in non-revenue sports who gain the opportunity of pursuing a college degree. These student-athletes get the lion's share of all the "billions of dollars" you talk about. The NCAA greedy? What a joke.
