If JT goes (and I think he will) I doubt that Grant will enroll at OSU. He will be given his release and he will be gone.

Although this article dates in late April, I think it's clear to see his opinion of Ohio State...

"I love the place," Grant said. "Coach Tressel commands a lot of respect, so I can't turn my back on them. I know we're going to get some type of punishment. But that's more motivation for me -- more motivation for Ohio State to be the best at what we do."

Just to clear the air, if Grant plays at OSU he will be a star -- and I hope he does.
Unfortunately, this mess - and negative news - is not over. The pressure for JT to leave (for the sake of OSU) will only intensify as will the pressure for OSU to start over with a clean slate. As it stands, at every appearance, Gee and Smith and every Board member will have to justify employing an admitted liar. This is much larger than JT and his body of work. The negative impact on OSU's image and Gee, etc will rule the day.

So go talk about it on Tress's thread or the thread about his situation...I dont think this is the thread for your doom and gloom

I'm sure I'm not the only one who got this email last night... Given the circumstances, does anybody else think that this is in poor taste? Can't they at least wait for the suspended players to return before going back to pretending that there isn't an incredibly unfair double standard here?

I couldn't agree more. It always amazes me how comfortable the NCAA and all of its member universities are with their own hypocrisy . . . :roll2:

I thought that when they were auctioning off the spring game helmets. Sure it was for charity.....but how is it different from Pryor selling a ring or AJ Green selling his jersey?
