It has nothing to do with "playing the game right" it has to do with the fact that I fucking hate Chicago (Both the Cubs and the White Sox) I'm a casual fan of Anaheim, and could give a rats ass about Houston. St. Louis, I've always liked. Mostly because I was a big Lou Brock fan.

Thats the problem when the Yankees go out. I am glad they lost, but my biggest reason for following the playoffs was to see them do exactly that. Now there is nothing left to be interested in unless you are an actual baseball fan.

BB far as I care those two teams can never win a Series again and It'll be too soon.

27 - yeah, it's still a yawner, I don't care that much about Anaheim. As I said, casual fan - which may be a bit "strong." I suppose I can root for Chi to lose....

Exactly. But it's probably jealousy, too. If my team could spend 200mil, I'd love it. Problem is, if/when they lose, it hurts that much more. Conversely, that's why we're all so happy right now, because the 2 big money teams are home working on their bunting and baserunning.

As much as I dislike the Yankees, the BoSox fans are much more annoying(at least all the ones I know).

Maybe A-Rod can go to a jeweler and trade his MVP trophy for a World Series replica ring.

Even though they lost, Jeter just continues to prove what a great player he really is.

Jeter is a hell of a player....

I don't know why everyone cries about how much the Yankees spend... It's a risk, and one that didn't pay off this year. George may be a lot of things, but you can't say the man doesn't invest in his club.

Baltimore has been known to overpay for players too, but I don't see hatin on the O's too much.
