Yankees-Orioles series

I thought the Rangers would be a tougher match up but I'm a Baltimore fan now. How sweet would it be for Showalter to win this series?

I look at the Orioles rotation and I'm amazed they got this far. I'm pulling for them, but I'll be shocked if they actually win this series. I think they have greatly outperformed their talent level, already.

Great season for their fans, but if they keep it going further into the playoffs it may be one of the most remarkable accomplishments in MLB history.

JJ Hardy is having a nightmare game.

He screwed up rounding 3rd and should have easily scored. Instead ARoid deked him into believing Jeter the Cheater had caught the ball and he ended up stranded at 3rd.

Next at-bat, he swings at two horrible pitches (foul balls both of them) and then watches as a big fat belt high fastball traverses the middle of the plate for strike 3.

Now, he forgot to leave the trap door down which lead to an error. It didn't lead to any runs, but it's clearly in his head at this point. Hopefully Buck can shake him up so he can forget about it.

Lineout DP to Jeter. Not surprised. I guarantee you the first yankee batter will hit the ball 500 feet. The Orioles haven't lost a game yet this year when leading after 7. The streak ends tonight.
