Just about 15 minutes ago my son drives into the garage. I meet him at the door because I was going out to get something from the extra refrigerator we have out there. I notice he is out of the car looking (I think at the time) the space between the wall/refrigerator and where the car is supposed to end up when parked. He mutters something like "oh, this is worse than I thought". I immediately turn on the lights inside the garage and lo and behold my boy has wrecked the front end of our Mustang GT. :( It needs a new bumper and possibly a new hood (although that maybe able to be repaired at the body shop). In all to me it looks like $3,000 in damage.
Boys being boys he hit the accelerator while taking the turn at a roundabout and the tires lost traction and he lost control hitting a brick outpost. Grateful that he was not hurt and no other car was involved and he couldn't have hit it too hard as the air bags did not deploy.
Knucklehead turned off the traction control otherwise this probably wouldn't have happened.
Well he is going to have to hoof it for a while until the car is fixed and he has enough $ to pay for it.....
Now I know how my Dad felt when I wrecked his car when i was a kid....
