"The surprise of Friday for me was 2019 quarterback Sam Johnson out of Southfield, Michigan. Johnson (6-3 174) is not yet in high school, but already holds offers from Akron, Ohio and Bowling Green. The Bowling Green offer came on Friday. He is believed to be the first athlete in Michigan...
I'm not sure if you're saying Demps didn't work out or not, but he rushed for 2,470 yards in his career and averaged 6.7 yards per carry. I think the Buckeyes would take 600 yards rushing from Wilson every year.
Tony Gerdeman tweeted this link yesterday from the Ozone's forum.
Talked to John McCallister about a few guys last night. One was 2014 Toledo QB Deshone Kizer.

He's 6-4 205 as a sophomore. Isn't being recruited heavily by...
Fwiw, here's a link to a pic of the actual roster. Newsome is still listed as a LB and Reed is still a WR. http://forums.the-ozone.net/messages/961517.html
I liked this bit from the O-Zone's tip sheet...

Defensive coordinator Jim Heacock was addressing a bunch of coaches from Ohio State's coaching clinic at today's practice and had this to say about the 2010 defensive line:
"Those of you who follow us know we had a...
You're exactly right. Miller can throw the ball up and not only will Williams go up and get it at the apex, he can also outrun the CB and run underneath the ball. He made a freakish catch today that was thrown down the sideline, he went up and tipped it up in the air, then spun 180 degrees and...
Watched Williams at practice today. He dominated. The North CBs had no answer for him. The most encouraging thing for me was that he was running past corners on deep routes. He shifted gears very well. Basically, he's a freak.
A couple of updates from today's practice...
***Ben Buchanan had the best onside kick of the day...of the three that were kicked by all three kickers. If the season started tomorrow, and the Buckeyes needed an onside kick against Marshall, it's clear that they've got bigger problems than...
Exactly. Do you think any of the "experts" McCallister was referring to can walk into Jim Tressel's office and not be met with JT frantically pushing the trapdoor button under his desk?
The staff respects his opinion. I wonder how often the staff sits around in meetings and contemplates what...
However, with ESPN's backing and power, do you think The Worldwide Leader is going to allow the run to end? They've got too much money involved for them to allow the SEC to turn into the ACC...even if it was possible--which it isn't.
Basically, ESPN is going to do whatever it can to keep the...
I don't see the long strides at all. Looks like short, choppy strides to me. It almost has the opposite effect where he looks like he's doing a lot, but not really moving as fast as his steps would have you believe. Where as long strides, he's not really moving a lot, which then surprises you...
