Found this out of the Detroit Press and thought it was a good read.

Schembechler wants U-M to stop playing Notre Dame; he doesn't understand why Ohio State is ranked No. 1
August 9, 2006
BY GEORGE SIPPLE...
ESPN just put this out on their front page. Pretty funny to see them trashing USC, Llloyd Carr and Notre Dames defense!
Hot & Not
Preseason magazines splashed its players across their covers. Its safety made his boxing debut at Madison Square Garden. One receiver spent his summer...
Just throwin this out there (not that their Top25 means much after they predicted the Cubbies to get to the World Series this year :tongue2: ).

Going through some websites and reading up on teams and this was too funny to not post on here. We all know that Miami has been connected to "criminal" behavior and what not, and the quote from this story doesnt help much at all with the recent stories surrounding the program...
With the new season comming up and the notion that the OSU offense will have to carry the load untill the new formed Defense gels, it made me question myself on what year was our best offense?
Personally Im voting for 95: Pace, George, Dudley, Glenn, Galloway, Shawn Springs, Bobby Hoying, and...
In the end, the Buckeyes came away with a Big ten title. However, I dont think many of us expected this many true freshman to get PT. Who - in your opinion - had the best true freshman campaign in 2005?
As much as us Buckeyes love to talk about what it must had been like in "the old days", we also must accept that times will move on, amazing records will be surpassed and new Hall Of Famers will emerge. This year, that is no exception with at least 3 OSU feats are likely beging to be hopped...
In your opinion, who deserves it?
(Personally, Im leaning towards Spurrier - he has done the most with none of his own players and a team thats on probation.)
From todays Dispatch:
Coach Jim Tressel will be inducted into the Baldwin-Wallace College Athletic Hall of Fame at a banquet tonight in Berea.
Tressel, Class of 1975, is a former quarterback at the school, where his late father Lee was its winningest coach. Jim Tressel was asked jokingly...
As I am looking towards this Saturdays clash between ND and Tennessee, I got to thinking about how Tenn. started the year #3 in the nation, while they sit now with 4 losses and might not become bowl eligable and their wins all have been close. Riding a 3 game losing skid, they seem as if a loss...
I know there is a thread for voting who got the game ball, but I thought I would throw out both the Big Tens perspective as well as OSUs coaching perspective:
OSU Coaches:
Offense: Antonio Pittman
Defense: Donte Whitner
Special Teams: Josh Huston...
This Friday in Columbus Crew Stadium, Cincy's Colerain will be playing Texas's Robert E. Lee to start off OSU vs. Texas weekend. My question to all the high school recruiting buffs - Who ya got in this one? I want with all hope for Colerain to win, but Robert E. Lee is comming off of a year in...
Last years Gameday clip ran with the song "Back In The Mudd" by Bubba Sparxx, which was really good song to get you pumped and ready for the games day! Now that its a new season, anyone have any preferences or thoughts on what the new song should be?
Personally, I would LOVE for it to be...

Michael Redd held an autograph session at the Easton Buckeye Corner between 12-1 today (Sat. Aug.6th). I just wanted to see who all went. I went up there with my roommate and the line really wasnt bad at all, Got my new OSU 'Alumni' hat signed (seemed fitting as he is an Alum). Was dissapointed...

Taking a lil break from all the hot recruiting news....Wanting to see who all went to tha "Boom" and who saw any players while down there.
A friend and my went down there and ran across three of our new players this year. I must say, we were pretty excited, however the players seemed to be...
I dont know if this has been posted yet but here it is from todays Dispatch:
This is getting to be sad...:( To be even lower under a revised system ranking us #112 in the nation is just - I dont know what to say...
In The Dispatch today (4/21) they released an article of draft selections by the seniors. Is it safe to assume that these would be either the best underclassmen in their possition and/or the best players in their position?
In a new article on ESPN.com (College Football section) it says that even though Matt Leinhart is returning, other starters might not be (at USC). These starters include: Dom Bryd (TE), LenDale White (RB), Frostee Rucker (DL), Manueal Wright (DL). Apparantly, they all are either at the bottom or...
