I have a HUGE amount of respect for UM. I have a lot of family that lives in Auburn Hills, and are huge Go Blue'ers. It is nice to see fans that "get it". I think this game is much more about the great competition and tradition, than each side "hating" the other. I hope UM wins the Rose Bowl...

It stood out a lot to me watching it on TV. Everytime someone was tackled, a lot of dirt/grass would fly up and it would look like someone used a big pideon wedge in the area. I was at the NIU game as well, and the field just looked, for lack of a better word, dull.

Id love to see them play TN in football. Most of my family is in TN, and the last time they played OSU, they whipped them pretty good in a bowl game, and i STILL have not lived that down.

Thanks for the ideas everyone! My fiances' grandfather is an alum of OSU....turns out they set aside tickets for them(just a few) for every game if they want to get them for friends family. My first OSU game will be the opener this year. I cant wait! Im curious to see how the atmosphere compares...

He will probably be a Maurice Drew type in D-1A football. Not big enough to carry all the load...but would excel at punt/kickoff returns and run it 10-15 plays per game. His small size doesnt mean much in high school, cause most of the guys are such horrible tacklers, he never gets hit good...
