'06 MD LB Navorro Bowman (Penn State signee)

I think I might have to change my avatar or sig to include the Kool-Aid man...

While I love Johnson's height and speed combared to Bowman, I will gladly take a LB class of Bowman, Moeller, Homan and hopefully McCarthy. I would take those 4 over any other LB corp headed to the same school. Add Gibson or Johnson and that is just a gluttony of riches.

One thing that is brought up by Duane, and I think is a very solid point, is that JT trekked all the way to CA and didn't visit with Mark Johnson. Now Johnson and Bowman are both Mikes... So maybe this means that JT was pretty confident he had his Mike... :)

duane also said that he has seen nothing outside of Gary's wink that indicates that bowman is going anywhere other than PSU.

Additionally, all the PSU insiders are saying he is blue and white all the way.

There are several out there that are disagreeing with nevada, but I'm pretty certain that he's not the only one that has heard this info on Bowman. Plus, I don't think he'd stick his neck out there unless he had some pretty concrete evidence...

miller safrit on the scout main board is calling bowman to psu as well, including a :wink: .

granted, nobody has spoken to him since JT's in-home yesterday, but PSU has an in-home tonight. I don't see it happening.

That comment from Miller tsteele was only his guesstimation he said... And the wink was in response to the speculation on Bucknuts mentioned by drunkatvc...

I think the :wink: meant something a little different. It was in response to the fact that he thinks the Bucknuts info is based on speculation, just as his guess is.

All we can do at this point is wait this thing out until tomorrow...

Problem with this type of speculation

The speculation that has occured with this student-athlete will just lead to a bigger let down if he goes else where.

I just don't get the infatuation with having to know the kid's answer before the he announces. We can't make the decision for him.

We just add fuel to a fire that causes a lot of these kids to have an extremely bloated sense of self-importance.

I know this kid is not like that, don't get me wrong. I just think people forget that the best part of watching recruiting is seeing the dance involved and knowing the players before they choose to become Buckeyes, Zips, Rockets, etc. Not only that, but then you get to see them later on and say, hey I remember him.

And to stay somewhat on topic, I think he sounds like a great addition for anyone, and has a great LB/S name!!!
