'10 MI DE/TE William Gholston (Michigan State signee)

Rivals $

7/12

From SpartanMag....Talks about his interest in Michigan State and about his experience at their July football camp. Says that the coaches there would allow him to play football and basketball. William put up the top combined speed and power numbers on the blocking sled, out of all the tight ends at the camp as well.

Keep up the good work William!

It depends on how much more he grows. Some of the most dominant DE in the NFL are 6'6 pushing 6'7. Jared Allen, Jason Taylor, Mario Williams, Julius Peppers and Richard Seymore to name a few. Calais Campbell is 6'8 290 lbs.

TE could be a possibility. With his height and athleticism, he could really put a strain on opposing D's. Fragel is 6'8" and Ballard is a shade under 6'7" so height isn't an issue there.

If the listed height in the first post is correct then yes. I think the person was getting at "if he grew." It was mentioned in one of the articles on Gholston if I'm not mistaken.
