so Feagin is redshirting?

before the season Michigan fans on their scout board were claiming that Feagin would be starting by mid season and Michigan would be competing for the Big 10 title :slappy:

and where is that supposed "dominant" defense that Michigan was going to have this year?

Probably beat to the punch (EDIT: billlmac), but can you believe this?...

When asked after the game if Butler had moved to defense, Rodriguez was vague.

"He ain't playing tight end, because Kevin Koger is the starter at tight end, and Mike Massey is the backup," Rodriguez said.

Douche much Rich? What a penis-muncher. No one asked you what position he "ain't playing."

Bittersweet. This guy is representing the team I love to hate, but as mentioned before, the comical value to them losing has all but worn off, and now I am concerned about the rivalry. Er, the health of the rivalry. Not the rivalry itself, since we seem to have a firm grip on that for [strike]now[/strike] quite awhile.

Beating them is more fun when it's not 99% sure to happen. I guess I can only speak for myself here though.

Michigan Recruiting Problems?

Sounds like quite a few of their guys are getting cold feet. Already lost Newsome and a four star WR. Five star DT Cambell was originally thought to come back but will take trips south. QB Beaver (ha, ha, I know I said beaver) might look around at OK St and others. Now there is talk of their other DT form AL visiting other schools. Could this be an implosion or just kids looking around? Sounds like R-Rod tells kids that visiting other schools will lead to them looking at other recruits. Plus MSU is getting after it in Michigan. Will they be able to hold on to all these resruits from southern kids that committed early?

Rivals $

Verballed QB Beaver was set to visit for MSU, but plans have changed.

In case you can't solve this riddle, he's not coming for the visit this weekend.

The implications of this weekend are incredible, stopping the bleeding, holding back "little brother" in-state (where they have been building), and capitalizing on an enormous recruiting weekend with so many in town.

Sadly, I have this feeling that scum is going to pull one out this weekend. I still think of MSU has the "fold after a major loss team" and they have yet to do anything to change that opinion. Also, they are going up against their major rival, and that could easily get into their heads.

They have a better system, a great running back, and if they play that backup qb a good system to throw in, but I have this feeling Sparty is going to choke it away :(
