You forget. They're fighting an uphill battle with this happy schmuck leading the charge.

You can't go around posting pictures like that, it's said that merely the presence of his face can conjour up unspeakable evils.

On a side note have any of you seen this video?

SEC 2009 // Georgia Looks for?Direction - Team Speed Kills

I think Joe Cox is going to have a better year than Stafford did. It is the leader thing. I see a better year than most do, but it has to start with a win at Okie State. If they lose badly, I don't think that they recover psychologically, and will not have the mindset to compete in the Cocktail Party. Another Gator blow out and third place in the east finish and CMR may hear some serious grumbling.

That is to say, the later could happen, but I see a very successful year with Cox under Center and maybe an undefeated Mutt team in late October.

If Cox has an advantage, it's that all of the O-Lineman returning and most of the defense is back. RB's are deep and there is an established #1 at WR.

That said - we've been down this road before. Senior Leadership was supposed to trump talent when Joe Tereshinski was the starter 3 years ago. Stafford bumped him by week 6 and we lost to Vandy and Kentucky that year. Let's hope we don't have to stick Aaron Murray in the game till he's ready.

I think Okie State lights them up......obviosuly I could be wrong, but great QB, best WR in college football, and a solid run game.

And I don't think Cox is primed for a very good year.....

This is a bad comparison, I know, but the T Tech - Ole Mrs. game keeps me from that light it up possibility. We'll see.

That's very fair. My only counter to that would be Okie St. is a balanced team. Texas Tech was not, and is a gimmick offense.

Okie St. runs a more pro-style offense, has a good run game, Dez Bryant will be the first WR taken in the draft, and Zac Robinson is a true duel-threat. And I believe their RB is Kendall(maybe Steven, can't remember/ don't want to look it up), is very solid.

Truthfully, I just have this feeling of Joe Cox revisiting the ghosts of Joe Tereshinki (sp?). By the end of the season, I have a feeling UGA fan will be screaming for true freshman Aaron Murray.....

Plus an All-American candidate at LT in Russell Okung.
