2017 CFB Bowl Games Open Thread

'kay, I'm almost over it now. Only at about 1.5-2% sick to my stomach. This one was actually harder for me to shake off that some of tOSU's losses.
Mainly, I 'spose, 'cause it just doesn't feel right.

Note to Self to adjust my expectations and investment in next season.

IMO, the only thing that separates Alabama from Ohio State is that the former pays a lot more attention to the little details (probably in part because they get to have 20 "quality control" coaches) and generally doesn't beat itself. If Urban can iron that out, and FWIW, I don't think that's likely, Ohio State can have a run like 'Bama's having. Oddly, the Cotton Bowl was a pretty good example: Ohio State was not very successful offensively at all, but didn't shoot itself in the foot much either, the D was lights out, and that was enough to win without ever really being threatened. The contrast is PSU: Ohio State should have beaten them by three touchdowns. but instead, due to numerous self-inflicted wounds, eked out a victory only by way of a miraculous 4th quarter performance from JT and a huge special teams play.
