Yep. It's obvious that at minimum they seriously broke the in person scouting rules. Nobody is buying the "ROGUE STAFFER!" shit, it doesn't take a team of seasoned investigators to figure out that is bullshit. With how vast it appears to be just from the evidence we've seen. It's enough to suspend Harbaugh and any major assistants until otherwise proven that they didn't really do anything wrong (not likely)
Agreed. There’s confirmed ticket purchases and stadium video evidence of attendance by him or his buddies filming. Combine that with TV sideline evidence of him in direct communication with the coordinators during games.

At minimum that is one very large rule broken and should be punished.

I’m not naive enough to think this will all burn down at once (or even at all) but you have to do SOMETHING.

Cowherd did the same thing, still playing the "everybody does it" card. :roll1: Big Noon isn't going to pay for itself.

Everyone sends their low level goons to dress up as a MAC staff member so they can stand on the sideline and spy on a future conference opponent :shake:

I still don't think we've seen the worst of all of this yet. The more they dig the more shit comes out. It would be fitting for the game ending bombshells to drop the week before The Game.

There's FOX's official pushback. Klatt doesn't bother trying to hide it.

"We want the best TV ratings possible!"

I find this to be TCUN like. Big issue with what Joel says here.

1. He pretty much blames the victim here.
2. Investigations would be nice if we did f have to wait 90 days etc for responses. Things move too slow if these allegations are true.
3. Why should it be different? As someone pointed out. The more you fuck around….

Klatt and Cowherd have been laughing over this and basically treating this as a nonissue from the start.

There's a lot of the "THEY SHOULDA BEEN PREPARED FOR THEIR CHEATING!" logic going around.

It's completely insane to seriously stand on the ground that EVERYONE ELSE should have to completely change everything they do mid season instead of punishing the cheating party here.

What kind of precedent does that send Joel? Cheating is ok, you can still play and win you just might get punished for it years down the line?!

And his cries for “why should we change the process” because there’s literally a chance to stop this train wreck from getting worse.

If the evidence is there then get it done.

What will be frustrating is when they do nothing and then this all is confirmed. Then Joel will be like “oh damn yeah that’s bad” and in the meantime Harbaugh is gone and so is half their team.

It's not like there's "No evidence" here at all like DFBIA and some of these media idiots are screaming. There is more than enough to show that scUM was committing some violations. Enough to at least warrant some suspensions right now. Do that and then let the rest play out before you really lay the hammer down, instead of doing nothing. Suspend Harbaugh, the OC and the DC, complete suspension none of this they are allowed to coach at practices shit, they aren't allowed anywhere near the team. That should at least cripple the machine enough to make the field level again.

It’s been a while since I have posted but it’s hard not to follow along with this thread and the epic nature of Michigan’s alleged misdeeds. Many thoughts have rolled past as I have eagerly consumed the posts for the past week or so. I wonder what those who have questioned whether or not OSU vs UM is the greatest rivalry in sports think about our little feud now? So too those who may have wondered why the “old timers” still remained devoted to their disdain for TTUN. “Surely your disgust has lessen over these years of dominating them on the field”. Eh, not so much. If you think it’s not possible for Michigan to be more annoying or infuriating … you simply haven’t lived long enough. I remember a time when this hatred (dare I say it) was born out of respect for a worthy opponent and the competition of equally matched teams. A single competition that would deny one, or the other, any satisfaction or joy for a time lasting no less than a year and sometimes more. And now it seems they have seen fit to defile what both teams used to revere … the competition … on an even playing field … to see who would be deemed most deserving. Of course it’s possible I’m being naive, and those memories of youth were never as noble as I recall.

I have been blessed thru the years to have played many sports and to have coached many as well. And I’ve come to realize that the greatest gift an athlete can be given is the opportunity to measure oneself against the best. To understand that only by risking the greatest of anguish in loss, can you also be blessed with the greatest of joy in victory. Anything that lessens that experience lessens the game, certainly for the athletes, but also too for us, the fans. An to be clear, “loss” and “victory” are not always evident on a scoreboard. If you doubt this, you only need to ponder your feelings about the past 2 Ohio State vs Michigan scores now, against what you felt about them before you knew of Conor Stalions.

Go Bucks! Beat Blue!

And now I’ll have some fun at their expense…
