Ajani Cornelius (OL Oregon)

Swing and miss.
Golden sombrero.

Commence with the - “shut up Diddy. We killed it, look at our star ranking. Not at OT, DE, LB, RB or S. And besides we will crush the next portal window. And we already nailed the first one with a kicker and long snapper. You suck”.

Read a post where Nike’s primary NIL initiative is basically mini-Nike run by ex-Nike execs.

Ours is a make shift outfit run by the son of rich guy.

To be fair, there were/are some legitimate big name business people on that board (at least when I first saw it). I thought for sure that would limit any risk of graft or imbecility. I guess I underestimated the Smails kid.

Did "Ohio State" do a good job of luring teenaged boys to Columbus with NIL money? No.

Is there a correlation between NIL spending and success on the football field? To this point, no. The best data point is Texas A+M, and that shows a negative correlation.

If "Ohio State's" lack of NIL spending bothers you so much, then next time you're sipping Manhattans at some high-end Happy Hour, round up a few Thurston Howell types and start your own NIL slush fund. Let us know how it's going. We might even be willing to kick in a few bucks.
