I'm not one for "moral victories" (link to moral victories website) but, with its best team on the sidelines, I think that this bowl season gives the B1G reason for optimism.

Nevertheless, I am saddened by the departure of Denard Robinson from TTUN. It will be a long time before we hear such humorous statements during games, such as "that shows you how tough Denard Robinson is" or "he'll lower his shoulder and take you on".

After losing Mike Hart, and then this, I am on the border of despair. However, I have lived long enough to realize that someone at TTUN will put his hand up and provide more humor in the future.

I also love that in every pic and video from the all-american bowl practices Morris is desperately trying to make friends with the Ohio State recruits (Bosa in particular), because, you know, if they are your friends they won't hit you as hard on the field... right? right!?

It seems clear that certain types of- let's call them personalities, are drawn towards playing for Brady Hoke. I don't think finding people to pick up the mantle in Ann Arbor is going to be an issue.

Just watched film on this kid. He pushes the ball too much, doesn't really set his feet. But what do I care?!? for 3 1/2 years we've had a QB who has the ugliest throwing motion in the country, and he was the most efficient passer in the conference this year, LOL.

Although, it WOULD be nice to have a QB actually take snaps exclusively from under center again...memories....memories....

I'll agree with this. The only jail-sexing that happened was Purdue (not surprising), Nebraska's defense (again) and Vincent Smith. Considering the situation I'd say it was almost a successful bowl season.
