B1G Bowl Season Jail-Sexing Thread

muffler dragon

Bien. Bien chiludo.
At the request of TDunk, I've started a thread so that we, the Buckeyes of bowl bannededness, can "discuss" the ways in which the B1G is going to get __________ (your euphemism of choice for sexing of an aggressive and despicable kind) in the bowl games this year.

BB73 should feel free about setting up v-bets in this thread if he likes or just use it as the general discussion thread.

This will be the first time in years that the BIG doesn't get two teams in the BCS bowls, which will help matters on the field. I think Wisky will do fine against Stanford if their OL and running game can pick up where they left off tonight.

Stanford has the best rushing defense in the country. I'll be shocked if Wisconsin hits 4 YPC.

Except that the B1G best and third best teams are ineligible, so everyone other than Wisconsin is 'playing up' two levels out of their weight class, and Wisconsin's matchup is not favorable for them to begin with.

Well Wisconsin will get buttsexed by Stanford, the 2 SEC teams likely to play the next 2 (Michigan and Nebraska?) are LSU and Texas A&M, so those will be assrapings, and after that we have quality teams like Purdue, Michigan State, and Minnesota, who don't look like they could beat a Sun Belt team. So our best hope is a win by Northwestern, and they are about 1-75 in bowl games.

I predict 1-6, only because I doubt all 7 will lose in the same bowl season.

How exactly is that going to help anything? Michigan and Nebraska would have a better chance of beating any BCS team (besides Oregon or Florida maybe) not playing for the National Title than they will against LSU and A&M.

Projections from CBSSports after tonight's games:

Wisconsin versus Stanford, Rose: I think Stanford's physical defense is what's needed to stop Wisconsin's rushing attack. Stanford.

Purdue vs. Iowa State, Heart of Dallas: Not big on either team, but Iowa State has won some bowls over mediocre teams before, and unless Hope (or whoever is coaching) is up by 100, you can't trust Purdue to hang on. Iowa State

Northwestern vs. South Carolina, Outback: NW seems to overachieve and hang in games with SEC teams, but they don't win them. South Carolina

Michigan vs. Mississippi State, Gator: If this is the matchup, it could be the B1G's best shot at a win. Michigan

Nebraska vs. Texas A&M, Capital One: We've seen what OSU and Wisconsin can do to these guys, now Johnny Football? A&M easy

TCU vs. Michigan State, Buffalo Wild Wings: TCU has been playing better lately, and Sparty pretty much blows. TCU

Baylor vs. Minnesota, Mieneke Car Care: Ugh. Mismatch Central. Baylor

Total: 1-6

As I recall Penn state put Wisconsin away. I don't think it's much of a stretch to say that the two best Big 10 teams are ineligible.

More than that is the lack of QB's other than Northwestern and Purdue among the bowl bound teams.

My hope is that 'bama thoroughly destroys the Irish and that Wisconsin and Nebraska keep it reasonably close. The Bucks could move up to #2 that way.

But I can see how the Bucks can be frozen at #4 with 'bama, Georgia 1 & 2 and Notre Dame 3.

Just wondering, is the BTN money making the whole conference mediocre at the expense of three or four solid programs? Is the money allowing the little 8 to compete for the same recruits that once were the 2s and 3s of the top programs?

FYI, v-bets can't be added to threads after they're started, they have to be established when threads are first created.
