How exactly is that going to help anything? Michigan and Nebraska would have a better chance of beating any BCS team (besides Oregon or Florida maybe) not playing for the National Title than they will against LSU and A&M.

It doesn't just affect Michigan and Nebraska. It will make it a more winnable game for Minnesota, Purdue, and MSU. We'd have to play the Capital One Bowl and Outback Bowl against the SEC no matter what.

Stanford has the best rushing defense in the country. I'll be shocked if Wisconsin hits 4 YPC.

Franklin ran all over Stanford the other night and I expect Wisky to do the same. They have a good run defense, but it may not do that well if the Badgers keep things rolling like they have.

Except that the B1G best and third best teams are ineligible, so everyone other than Wisconsin is 'playing up' two levels out of their weight class, and Wisconsin's matchup is not favorable for them to begin with.

No doubt. I was already considering the 2 bowl spots up the line as a given. If we get a 2nd BCS team, then we've got the lower teams moving up 3 slots, which would be absolutely murder. My only point is that at least it's only 2 slots up and not 3. The BCS bowls bring more money, but I don't think I'd want to see the additional carnage on the field.
