Cleveland Browns (2012 season)

Jarvis Jones if he's available. But, my gut is saying Te'o (who I think is going to be an average NFL LB).

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... I want no part of Jones... Congenital narrowing of the spine... There is a reason U$C didnt clear him...

Would rather the Browns get Te'o than Jones.

I don't really see any reason to think Te'o will be average, but there are reasons to think Jones will be. Alabama ran directly at him for a total of 350 yards. They were running at him. And I know, it's Alabama, but they chose to expose the biggest weakness they saw on Georgia's defense and that was Jones. Huge red flag for me.

Assuming that Little and Gordon continue to progress like they did this season, I don't think we need to draft any receivers, at least not until very late in the draft. IMO, we already drafted the best receiver in the 2013 draft, and gave him a one year head start in the NFL.

I don't know who we should take, but I think it's pretty clear that defense needs to be the focus early on in this draft. We could really use BPA at just about any defensive position except DT.

Alex Okafor would be a pretty solid pick. Browns need a play making WR too. Not having a 2nd round pick is going to hurt. Maybe they would reach for somebody like Terrance Williams in round one. He would be a better pick than Te'o IMO.
Not really. That second round pick already has a year in the league under his belt, and looked pretty damned good...

[strike]Chris Palmer (32 games)[/strike]
[strike]Butch Davis (58 games)[/strike]
[strike]Terry Robiskie (6 games)[/strike]
[strike]Romeo Crennel (64 games)[/strike]
[strike]Eric Mangini (32 games)[/strike]
[strike]Pat Shurmur (32 games)[/strike]
???

That's some murderer's row we have there. I think it was fairly universal here that the Shurmur hiring was going to be a disaster. It's astounding how so many of these clowns that get paid six and seven figures annually cannot see these things. Shurmur and Weeden. :shake:

I like Haslam's enthusiasm, I just hope he and Banner make an intelligent choice and end this [censored]ing coaching carousel. 6 coaches in 14 years is absurd. Between that, and the non-stop QB monkey-[censored], it's pretty clear why this franchise has been (arguably) the worst in professional sports for the last decade and a half...

For those keeping score, our head coaches (excluding interim Robiskie) have lasted:

2 years
3.5 years
4 years
2 years
2 years
