Columbus Crew SC (2008, 2020, 2023 MLS Champions)

So far, is Steindorsson as good as expected? I'm with some others, without TWC I don't catch much.
Heard great things about him in pre-season, but didn't get a chance to see him against Houston.

With Steindorsoon, Finlay, Meram, and Cedrick (coming in during the summer- I can't wait), we're going to have an embarrassment of riches on the flanks. It's going to be hard for Greg to sit any of those guys.

IMO, they need to give Meram a shot at striker before they decide to splash money on one in the next transfer window. He has a great attacking presence, and a killer finesse shot to go with it.

Just announced... should be pretty cool. The wife will be out of town - strongly considering taking off work and making the trip up in the middle of the week.

Crew got screwed big time early in the 1st half so far with a BS red card on a horrible intentional handball call and have been playing with 10 for the majority of the half. Should escape into the half with the score still 1-1, though.

OCSC players diving like they don't like they don't like their chances against ten men.

Confetti all over the pitch because what an artificial pitch needs is more plastic.

It was a penalty for sure but no fucking way that deserved a red card.

Rivas is the worst offender with the diving.

Need to find a way to get some offense going with 10 and sustain it, because the 1st 10 of the 2nd half were spent giving Clark all he could handle.

EDIT: I really can't believe they weren't trying to clear off all that confetti during the half. They should have at least attempted to clear it off.

OCSC really are garbage. They got all the help you could get without triggering a match-fixing probe and still only got a draw at home.

Crew win this by three goals if not for that bullshit red card.

They played their damn asses off tonight, but looked tired for the last twenty minutes - not just physically, but mentally. Playing that long with just ten men takes a toll.

The ref really seemed to like matching cards with the Crew's colors. Way too many yellows, not to mention that BS red card. He could have easily pulled 3 more yellows against OCSC, and really should have. The Orlando player trying to pull first at Kamara's leg and then the Crew player blocking him when he was down with the cramp was really bush league and should have gotten something. Really disappointed to see that as someone who also pulls for Orlando when they're not playing the Crew.

EDIT: The disregard players show each other late in the game regarding apparent injuries is horrible and needs to change. I know Columbus has been guilty of it as well, because it happens in every single match when an opposing player goes down late. Just walk away and let the ref deal with it if they're really stalling.
