Columbus Crew SC (2008, 2020, 2023 MLS Champions)

Naming rights are great for the business side of the Crew, but I will always refer to their stadium as Columbus Crew Stadium.

As for the playoff picture in the East. If Columbus gets out of the aggregate round with New England, I like their chances to advance to the MLS Cup Final. I'm not all that impressed with DC United. They are good, but I don't think they are ready for a physical, possession oriented team that is playing at the top of it's potential. Need Higuain to get hot immediately in these playoffs. Also going to need great support form the midfielders (Meram, Anor, Finlay, and Jiminez).

DC United will face the winner of a knockout game between New York Red Bulls and Sporting KC.
Columbus Crew faces New England

Seattle Sounders will face the winner of a knockout game between Vancouver Whitecaps and FC Dallas.
LA Galaxy faces Real Salt Lake.

Even if you aren't a huge fan of soccer, those playoff matchups look REALLY good. May want to tune into these playoffs as they should be a lot of fun.

Apparently in Columbus, it's being blacked-out. Best thing crew brass can do this offseason is get their shit together regarding TV broadcasting their games and TWC. Keeping their fans and potential fans from seeing their games is beyond ridiculous.

Either way, I'll be at the game in the Nordecke, then making my way over to tailgate with some friends and take in the OSU/Illinois game in the Horseshoe. Dressing in layers and cheering both on to victory tonight.
