Hoban Football ‏@HobanFootball
Hoban improves to 5-0 with the 24-7 victory over STVM. The Knights are back in action next Friday opening up NCL play vs. Walsh Jesuit.

in some poll.. maybe state ranking.. this was #2 vs #3
probably the biggest game ever in Akron with both Akron schools ranked that highly I feel sorry for Clark wr's had a few big time drops again

Clark also had some poor passes and a couple of missed picks. Definitely could tell it was the rivalry game. Hoban's defense was the difference.
Ya Hoban' s defense is amazing I laugh at my friends that Played football at Hoban complete difference some of those young players are worth watching I like the back up RB they need to get him in the game somehow and Canton Mckinley is 3-1 after Hoban shutting them out . sophomore Nate Bauer player of the game friend of my nephew and he's getting some early offers already

I went to the game last night. Danny's progressed a lot since I last saw him play. Throws a pretty ball & he has more than enough arm strength for a HS JR. A few passes could've used some more touch, but overall I came away impressed.

The last game I went to was marred by too many poor decisions. This one was much better in that regard. I don't think he took a single sack.

He connected with three different receivers for touchdowns. Clark finished the game 11-for-19 for 208 yards.

AKRON, Ohio -- The golden dome that serves as the entrance to Archbishop Hoban High School should be the only thing that draws attention as you're pulling into the main parking lot.

But Danny Clark ruined what would have otherwise been a tranquil moment by sticking his head out the window of his second-story art class, pointing to the entrance and yelling, "I'll meet you down there."

Clark wasn't concerned about the 20 minutes left in art. In his head, he was on his way down.

What's the big deal? Clark is the starting quarterback for undefeated Hoban, he's Ohio State's quarterback of the future and he already took his big math test earlier that day.

But by the time Clark made it down to the athletics office, 30 minutes passed.

As a Hoban grad.. I understand fully.. very surprised he wasn't handed a detention as well .. which could be 2 hours on a Saturday morning cleaning up the stadium or doing the grounds...
one of those throwback schools that you are a STUDENT-athlete... in that order
