Eugene has about 15 offers, but doesnt name a leader. Only official he has set is with OSU.

Very encouraging update. We already knew that his parents were pushing OSU, and this article confirms it. He wont take an official to Michigan.

Cincinnati safety/wide receiver Eugene Clifford of Colerain High School denies a leader, but he seems to favor Ohio State and Michigan — both of which have offered. He says he has 15 offers total.

"Two of my newest offers came from West Virginia and Indiana," Clifford said. "West Virginia is the only school offering me as a wide receiver.

"I might commit during the season, maybe. I definitely will take an official visit to Ohio State, and to Florida State or Miami, too, if they offer me. I've been to Michigan enough times to basically know everything I need to know about the school, so I don't plan to take an official visit there."

HAHA, I don't know if anyone else laughed when they read that one, but paired with the recent news that he's a buckeye lean, this quote just made me smile, lol, he's already seen enough of whats up there and doesn't need anymore help from Michigan to realize that he's a buckeye!!

Well, he did grow up as a scUM fan, so there may be a different interpretation there. That said, I think you can cover all the cool things to do in Ann Arbor in a day or so.

Just posting an FYI to a post I made earlier in this thread....It is confirmed: Colerain will be taking their alloted 'retreat' at Ohio State in a couple of weeks. They will have full use of the Woody Hayes Athletic Complex and will have access to the dorms. Contact between OSU coaches and Colerain players, I believe, is prohibited...But Eugene will be spending 3 days in Columbus and seeing/using the facilities before his official visit.

As a Buckeye and Colerain fan, I want to thank TOSU staff and Kerry Coombs and Dan Moody (Colerain AD) for making this happen. Its about time that the best public football program in the state of Ohio has a working relationship with THE Ohio State University.
