DE Joey Bosa (Def ROY, 3x Pro Bowl, Los Angeles Chargers)

That RB's reaction when he realizes he has to block Bosa:

I am just getting a #97 jersey tonight even though I have worn #7 my whole life...I cannot love Joey Bosa anymore than this. What more can you ask from the kid? If he isn't making the tackle or sack, he is keeping contain and feeding the ball carrier out to everyone else. This kid is the best DL I have seen at Ohio State. Granted I am not that old, that list would include Will Smith, Tim Andersen, Darrion Scott, Johnny Simon, Vernon Gholston, Will Smith, Jonathan Hankins, Cam Heyward, Doug Worthington, Thaddeus Gibson, Quinn Pitcock, Jay Richardson, Kenny Peterson, etc. Yeah...he is really good.

He looks like the kid in tee-ball that is bored because nothing challenges him. I am just glad he has no choice but to dominate everyone for another year no matter how advanced he is.

That was either the dumbest protection I've ever seen or the LT blew it. Either the LG should have taken Bosa and let the back take the LB coming up the middle or you call a down if you think the LB up the middle is an immediate threat and the LT should have blocked down on Bosa. Since the man over the LT ended up dropping that would have been the best play since it would have let the back release rather than take out Sackenberg's ACL.

I'll still go with Mike Vrabel at this point (66.0 TFL, 36.0 sacks, both Buckeye career records; 13.0 sacks in 1995 for the single season record). Maybe Van DeCree. Jim Stillwagon and Bill Willis were before my time. But that's a pretty good short list of all time greats. And by the time he leaves Ohio State, Bosa may very well be at the top of that list.

Bid Daddy Dan Wilkinson was constantly double teamed and still dominated. He was the best I'd seen in my lifetime. Vrabel and Finkes were the best due and Fickell as the third but Bosa is quickly becoming THE star defensive lineman of my lifetime.

I'm trying to think of a more singularly dominant defensive lineman that I've seen at tOSU. Like mentioned above, Vrabel was something else over a long period. Big Vern Gholston was nearly unblockable at times during his junior season. He would just overpower opponents, but he was all power...not much technique. Big Daddy Wilkinson was an absolute monster at times, but also disappeared for stretches. Bosa is a rare combination of power and agility that you don't see very often, and he's only about 1/2 done with his time here. That's scary. He is well on his way to possibly being the #1 selection in the 2016 NFL draft. I look at Bosa, I see a young JJ Watt.
