Man, I want LJ to play for Ohio State. Hope we can raise his interest level in us more after he visits for the Spring Game. Did I mention I really want LJ bad, in scarlet and gray?

Im in France and I was teaching french students how to play american football. When we got to the discussion of dbs, I had to send them a video of LJ.

After which we scrimmaged and I got absolutely laid out. I just wanted to thank LJ for effectively helping me teach the world how to play football.

Man i just checked out the message board on canesport and they are absolutely embrassing themselves but insulting LJ. I cant believe that a teenager who has never done anything to either of them would get them that pissed off. I posted on there and was nice, but I still got hell back.

Genron -
Was it just for the picture with Rolle? Or are their feelings hurt that he's looking outside of Florida with some of his college choices?

I never really got why fans can lash players so bad for their recruitments. I mean Joyner hasn't even entered his senior year! Honestly them badmouthing the player speaks more towards themselves than anything else. I hope Mr. Frankenstein makes them boys eat crow on the field . . . we DO play "Da U" in a few years...

Well "fan" is short for "fanatic"....

Some people can let go of the "atic" lol

Example #456,987,932 of why BP is hardcore about never bashing kids.

Hard to imagine a finer role model than Myron Rolle. Regardless of where Lamarcus enrolls in college, I hope he stays in touch with Rolle; what a fine example that young man has set. He almost makes me feel better about the 'Noles. :paranoid:

Under Armour All-American Lamarcus Joyner orders top five
ESPNU 150 Watch List cornerback Lamarcus Joyner told affiliate Web site NoleInsider.com that his top five, in order, is Ohio State, Florida State, Alabama, Florida and USC. He then commented on his top two, Ohio State and Florida State.

"FSU is my dream school, which I'm pretty sure everybody knows by now. They're just coming hard now, just as hard as any other school, plus even harder. Their coaching staff is really stressing the point that they need me. It's somewhere that I can go start or play early at my dream school. Most dreams don't come true, so for something like this to come true is a great thing."

"What made OSU jump to No. 1 was the guys they have on their coaching staff, and also when you look down the line that the DB's that they producing, Florida State don't get me wrong they also produce them too, but Ohio State has a longer and better history. And it's a great place to be, and I'm trying to leave far from home, and mature as a man."

Joyner also mentioned that he intends to make his final decision on national signing day.

I just have to jump in here and say I am really impressed with how Joyner is handling all the attention and contact.

I certainly hope he ends up at OSU so we can all watch him develop his talents and character over the next few years.

Sometimes you can just tell when a kid comes from good stock and is of solid character. Meeting Rolle, 'getting' Tressel, reading his comments, and of course having Genron as a mentor..this kid just has so much going his way.

I hope he ends up at OSU simply because I am convinced he is going to be successful where ever he goes.

And I can't stand several of the schools on his list. :wink2:
