LB Nick Conner (Official Thread)

There were a couple true freshman LBs who were in on the kickoff team at the start of the 2002 season, and the both turned out OK. In fact, Bobby Carpenter made the tackle on the season-opening kickoff against Texas Tech...
correct me if I am wrong...but wasn't Troy Smith returning kicks in the spring game that year?

OK, I read that 'he's a stud', but nothing newsy that is solid. No playing time, (that I've seen), but several respected posters have said 'MLB is solid with Conner'. What's going on. Has his knee not come around yet? Not trusting it? Coaches passing him up to play the non-schollie seniors? If it's a given that Kwon is gone after this year, wouldn't it be kinda wise to get this kid some PT? He tore it up as a freshman in the Spring Game, but then the knee, and then......nothing. Would someone please help me remove the fog from my eyes? I would think ANY 5* 6'3" 240 lbs LB would jump at the chance to sign with tOSU sooner rather than later, if Nick is hurting.....there's no one in the four deep that's gonna be around after this season. Go Bucks
