Out-Of-State Players To Watch

Ohio State Will See Florida Wide Receiver Friday
Melbourne (Fla.) Viera 2016 wide receiver Tre Nixon could add to his scholarship offer list on Friday.

Ohio State assistant coach Tim Hinton will be at Viera High School Friday morning to meet with Nixon’s coaches. Hinton will then watch Nixon play in-person on Friday night.

“I feel like I have a high chance of getting a (scholarship) offer from Ohio State this weekend,” Nixon said. “Currently I have 11 offers.”

I've watched young Larkin a couple of times this year, and the kid is pretty talented. I saw him run for 200+yds against Colerain week 1 and then close to 200 and 4tds about 2wks ago. He comes from long line of talented Larkins from Cincinnati. All ultra athletic and talented in multiple sports and all going to Catholic schools in Cincy (mainly Moeller, and led by the most famous family member, Barry Larkin).

DONNIE CORLEY TO VISIT THIS WEEKEND
Offered in the last month by Michigan State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Maryland, NC State, Wake Forest and others, Corley will be visiting Ohio State this weekend for the second time (he camped at Ohio State during Friday Night Lights) and sources close to the situation indicate that a Buckeye offer is likely to happen soon.

Ohio State, if they offer, will likely find themselves in a battle for Corley, competing mostly against Michigan and Michigan State, although the Irish can't ever be discounted.

Over the weekend it looked like 2016 four-star wide receiver Dredrick Snelson was thinking about flipping his commitment from Miami. It wasn't exactly known to whom yet, but Florida State and Ohio State were the two most likely destinations. Well that flip never happened, but it definitely seems as though other programs have Snelson's attention. And considering he's a 2016 recruit and has 15 months to go until National Signing Day, Miami can't be feeling overly confident in their chances to keep him as a commitment. However, if they want to help their chances, then they simply have to beat Florida State this weekend. Five star cornerback Tarvarus McFadden committed to Florida State and tweeted out that he was going to take Snelson with him while four-star athlete Torrance Gibson recently committed to Ohio State and is Snelson's quarterback at Plantation (Florida) American Heritage. Keep an eye on this one.
Snelson easily looked like the best player on the field to me when I watched one of Gibson's televised games a few months back...
