Out-Of-State Players To Watch

IL 4* RB Kentrail Moran visiting for The Game.

State Secrets, 11/28 - Liam Eichenberg, Kentrail Moran to visit
Unlike Eichenberg, Kentrail Moran has yet to receive an offer from theOSU coaching staff. Even though the Buckeyes haven't offered yet, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, and Northern Illinois are just some of the teams who have.

One of the top junior running backs in the country, an offer could come at any moment. While an offer from Ohio State is something Moran would love to have, it wouldn't put them in the driver's seat.

"When I think of Ohio State football, I think of a great program, a winning program, and a good school for academics. If they offered me I'd be pretty excited, but it wouldn't put them in front because I don't have a top list yet," Moran has previously stated.

Alex Malzone was named Mr. Football in Michigan and he is headed to UM.

Joe Burrow was named Mr. Football in Ohio and he is headed to OSU.

Should be a fun battle to watch over the coming years...

I am personally more excited about Burrow at QB than I am about Gibson. Would like to see Burrow throwing to Gibson (including double passes).

Free Scout - 2016 Intro: JD Spielman

Eden Prairie is once again undefeated and moving towards yet another state title.

A big part of this season's success has been junior J.D. Spielman, a fast, elusive receiver, running back and return man, who has been making big plays and frustrating would-be tacklers with his open field ability.

His showing on the gridiron has many in the Twin Cities beginning to think he should reconsider his lacrosse commitment to Ohio State. Does the possibility exist that he could try to play both sports if the Buckeye football staff afforded him the opportunity?

"I mean, I would if they offered," he said, "but I already told the lacrosse coach that if I picked up a football offer, I would decommitt and play football."

Spielman, who is the son of Vikings general manager Rick Spielman, says he does have a number of other schools contacting him about football.

"I am currently hearing from Michigan State, Northwestern, Iowa, Iowa State, and UCLA."

I officiate lacrosse in Minnesota. EP is a POWERHOUSE. Back to back state champions and I would tab them as the favorite this year to three-peat. I know we are a football board, but it would be a big loss to OSU lax to let this slip through. We picked up a solid prospect out of Prior Lake here for 2015 and the TC is really starting to come on strong to the national lacrosse scene. I grew up in Maryland, so I know good lacrosse, and it's not quite there YET, but it will be. And with Marquette/ND/UM being the only other real competition regionally, the Buckeyes are in solid shape moving forward. Would hate to lose J.D.
