RB Bri'onte Dunn (dismissed from team)

First, I have no idea if Dunn smoked the weed or not. As has been stated, the girl changed her story a couple of times. The video states it was edited. Was the edit removing the part where police told the girl if she got Dunn to confess they would drop the charges against her? That is at least a possibility. Those who want to believe he is guilty will believe she was telling the truth. Those who want to believe he is innocent will believe she lied. Me, I don't know. I hope he's innocent.

And most importantly, GO BUCKS!!

Either Bri'onte didn't smoke it, or he was collected enough to realize there was a camera/recording equipment in the cruiser.

I do agree with you, she seemed to talk an awful lot about privelege while she was panicking so there very well could have been her attempt to coerce a confession.

But it could go either way.

He took a drug test. He passed. He had his charges dropped. So there's that.
Yes, there's that. And I have no reason to believe it's not legit. The posting of the video seemed to be saying he was not entirely innocent. I was merely saying that the video proved nothing either way.

Think back to when you were 19. Did that ever occur to you that the cops may be recording you?

Obviously I don't know Brionte in any way and maybe he is that collected, or maybe he was telling the truth the entire time too.

Keep in mind, I'm simply playing Devil's Advocate here:

He was on the phone almost the entire time before he was handcuffed, I'm assuming it was his mom he was on the phone with. She could have easily told him this too.

But exactly, his demeanor either spoke of a distaste for police and just a I don't give a fuck attitude (less likely due to his politeness towards the police) or he flat out was telling the truth.

I'd say there was a pretty good chance he was lying in the back of the police car (you can just kind of sense it) but he did end up passing the test so who knows.
I understand idle gossip on message boards, but Bri'onte is a Buckeye who did pass the drug test, so I'm not sure it's appropriate to be speculating on this matter.

I mean, it's not like Craig James killing 5 hookers while at SMU.

He flat out states that he did not smoke. He tells the officer that he is willing to produce a urine sample and for all Brionte knew, the cop was going to make him take the test on the spot. Further, he later took a test and passed.

On the other hand, you have a crazy bitch who is oddly persistent about getting Brionte to say that he smoked weed. More so, the girl essentially admits to toking up after denying it and getting caught up in lies. Not a lot of credibility there.

Not hard to see why the charges were kicked.

Re: Madden found Dunn, 19, guilty of traffic violations involving license plate illumination and not wearing a seatbelt, for which she fined him $60 plus court costs.

Well, he was found guilty on a couple minor traffic violations, etc.

True. Damn hoodlums and their license plate lights not working.

Absolutely hate when officers use that as an excuse to pull someone over. Would love to see the whole traffic stop. How did they even find the marijuana? Plain view?
