The thing about Zeke is he can do everything. He's a great blocker, a great receiver for a RB, and has elite speed. Fournette might be a better pure RB, but on a team like the Pats Zeke would be a game breaker. The way they treat RB's in the draft these days he'll probably be looking at a mid to late pick, which could be good for him.

ZEKE will have the better pro career. He can block, he can catch and obviously his running abilities are 2nd to none.

Zeke also isn't as big and therefore isn't as big of a target to top everything off... sort of hard to play when you can't stay healthy which eventually I feel is what's going to happen to Fournette. Zeke will be in the league longer if he wants to play for many years IMO because he can adapt his style (like the faulk comparison). Fournette is going to have to stay with the same style which is that of a battering ram because he has nothing else and in the NFL that style normally doesn't last too long

Name a better back without the football. Fournette is a monster but he does not make that devastating second block against vt, let alone with the regularity of great lead blocking that EzE provides. Without that effort and bloodlust for another blocking victim on that play, Braxton has a great spin move for 5 more yards instead of a TD.

I only see highlights of Fournette, but granted he looks really really good on his highlight ESECPN replays.

I have been slightly critical of Zeke running at times, ball in wrong hand, wish he used stiff arm more, sometimes doesn't break a tackle here or there, but with those small criticisms, I will say he plays with an intensity and fire, and I think that is why he is a devastating blocker. You cannot block or receive the ball as a running back much better than Zeke does it.

7. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
The Buckeyes’ offense got back on track this week with J.T. Barrett returning to the starting quarterback spot against Rutgers, but Elliott deserves credit both for performing well in the win and playing great all year. He broke five tackles and rushed for 7.4 yards per carry and two touchdowns against the Scarlet Knights. On the season, he’s PFF’s No. 6 runner and No. 9 receiver, and he still isn’t allowed a single pressure in pass protection.

I think this is more telling of the type of player he is than anything else. I remember him telling Webber during the Scarlet & Gray Days that they (OSU) has the "best blocking backs in the nation," and they worked hard on it.

I cant remember any Ohio State running back that has had the type of relationship Zeke has with his OLine.
