RB Ezekiel Elliott (All B1G, All-American, National Champion, Pro Bowl, All Pro, New England Patriots)

I think Smith is going to be a third down and short yardage back and Elliot will play every other down. With the size difference it may be more beneficial to let Smith get the ball when all we need is a couple of yards.

I feel all of you guys. I think all the running backs are talented. They will push each other cause that's the type of atmosphere coach Drayton produces. In the end I don't know if my son will maintain being a starter. I just want him to continue striving to be the best. I do have my own personal prediction! :)

I think many of us share your prediction as well :biggrin2:
Ezekial can only benefit from playing in a rotation with other talented RBs, will keep him fresh throughout the season.

Is Ezekial still participating in track at OSU?

I see Eze getting somewhere in the 800 - 1,200 yard range, depending on staying healthy and how much him and (presumably) Smith rotate. His junior year I think he could be outstanding (and will be relied on more heavily in the running game without Braxton back there).

Curious to know if Ezekiel is planning on trying to get #2 now with Jordan Hall gone, or is he going to stick with #15?

He will not run track this season at OSU. He has a tough schedule this spring with 17 hours, with 3 of those hours being a micro econ class. Ezekiel is just focusing on class and football this semester.

Thank you. That's a neck of a workload in addition to his engagements with football. I hope he's managing his time wisely. Micro econ is no joke. Get those books in order and everything will fall into place.

That's quite dangerous to maintain at 4.1 %. In all honesty about as low as you'd like to be as a male.
Not really dangerous. Many of the top-triathletes in the world have extremely low body fat, and yet they can still do extreme distance races (e.g., Ironman). Your body won't exhaust it's body fat reserves until just before you die of starvation, and by that time it will have cannibalized nearly all your lean muscle as last-ditch fuel. As long as he's eating healthy and ensuring he's getting the proper supplements, he'll be just fine at that weight.

Though this article is about Justin Hilliard, I just wanted to point out how awesome it is to read about the Elliot family supporting fellow recruits parents, showing that OSU is indeed a familial atmosphere more than just what happens on the field. It speaks volumes to me, that Mr. Elliot is willing to travel from Missouri to Cincinnati, Oh to sit at the announcement of a child who's not his own, to hear him commit to be a Buckeye. It shows how recruiting is more than just what coaches tell recruits(and parents), and recruits tell recruits, and even what players tell recruits. But that parents play an integral part of speaking with other parents. It seems that the relationship the Elliots made with the Hilliards also went a long way in us getting the committment of Justin Hilliard. And I look forward to hearing more about how the Elliot's help OSU and are mold their son to a man many recruits coming up pattern themselves after.

That's good news cause I've already got his #15 Jersey.

You mean a random, unnamed #15 Ohio State jersey
