SF Sam Thompson (JB Monferrato - Italy)

I really don't care how he interviews on the radio. All I care about is how he does something that he doesn't quite understand yet and that with his 46" vertical he needs to crash the boards of both the offensive and defensive boards. If he does those things, he will be a tremendous asset to the team. Dunks are nice but they are only worth 2 points.

He needs to play like Chris Wright did for Dayton. Both are similiar players. Tall swingmen with athletisism that is off the chart. Thompson seems to have a better handle and jump shot. Chris Wright couldn't shoot but his energy level was off the charts the whole game. He crashed the boards like a man possesed. He got a couple put back dunks a game. I see no reason why Thompson couldn't contribute more on the rebounding side of things.

I wonder when teams are going to catch on to that play. I don't know how many times Thompson has gotten 2 off of a inbounds play this season but it seems like quite a few and I would not mind seeing a few more:)

It was a great win last night! Sam played great in the 1st half, but again he seems to always fade away in the 2nd half, maybe had an RB or 2. He did not even take a shot in the 2nd half. Is it me or does this happen all the time with Sam?

In the second half he rebounded, had either 1 or 2 blocks, and played very good defense. He did what was necessary to help his team get the W.

Sam was outstanding last night. You can see things really coming together for him. He's shooting with a lot of confidence right now and is seeing some great results. If he can continue to contribute offensively and play the same defense he always does, that would be a huge lift for the Bucks.

And as always, my God is he incredible when he has a breakaway dunk. Freak athlete.

Yea, he played pretty good D in the second half:
Second half stats:
0 blocks
0 shots attempted
0 steals
2 boards, 1 of those with about 2 seconds left in the game.

I'm just saying that for whatever reason(s) his numbers just really fall off in the 2nd half.

Your schtick is getting quite tiresome...
