SG Lenzelle Smith (Hapoel Eilat - Israel)

One thing Smith has always done is hit the defensive glass hard. He has had a lot of rebounds in his OSU career for a 6'4" player. Going to be a challenge to replace his combination of skill, strength, toughness and versatility next year.

Hey, I like what Smith has done over his career but I don't mind him playing sparingly his freshman season at all (rather than redshirting). He has been a bit better this year than past years in terms of offensive production but I don't see the upside that would make him much better next year, might as well bring in some new blood with perhaps more talent and see what they can do.

I think that Smith Jr. has been very underappreciated during his 4 year career and I think from this article he feels the same way.
Did you see what Lenzelle Smith Jr. did? A play against Purdue explains Ohio State's senior

"I just want to win. You can't worry about those types of things," Smith said. "Somebody, somewhere, who recognizes basketball and knows the games, they see (what I do). I don't do things to get seen." Read more »

Smith has had a good career at OSU, but he has been overshadowed by his classmates every year. He has been a solid piece to the puzzle for a few years.

One of the best rebounding guards I've ever seen at Ohio State. He isn't a very good shooter though. I wish he would change his game according to what is working a bit more. If he shoots a couple and it's not going, start driving or drive and dish more. Work into the game instead of trying to work the game into him.

Still going to need his leadership in this tournament though. He can't go in the tank and this team do anything going forward.

Thanks to LSJ for all he did for Ohio State during his four year career. I'm sure no one is more frustrated with his shooting woes than him, but no one could ever question his effort and dedication to his team. He helped the Buckeyes win a lot of games, and I wish him the best going forward.

Never liked his shot, he likes to lean back almost like he is fading away.

Regardless, Lenzelle was a hard worker who gave it his all, may be far from a Buckeye legend but his time at OSU was definitely appreciated.
