Interesting Blog that Floyd is keeping in San Antonio:

"I told a few of them my decision. A couple were surprised, but they could tell that I fell in love with the place. They know that this school, well, it's a program that will stand the test of time."

There's only one of his final four (tOSU, Florida, S. Carolina, N. Carolina) that "will stand the test of time. :wink2:

From ESPN JC SChubert:

Coast-to-Coast Notes
Two big pieces for OSU?

Should ESPNU150 defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd (Philadelphia/George Washington) pick Ohio State on Saturday, it will give the Buckeyes a pair of prospects at that position in this class with some serious size, following the commitment of Johnathon Hankins (Detroit, Mich./Southeastern) earlier this week. One source close to Floyd's situation said earlier this week that the 6-foot-3, 310-pounder's commitment could end up being "a surprise", so we will see what happens, but there are a lot of signs that point toward the Buckeyes.

Now if we could just find out who he's been talking to, we will know...

There are a few Buckeye recruits on his side, who, from there, is a Gator?

I could live with him going anywhere but UF. I've had to hear them nonstop about how he's headed there, or that they have at least a 75% at him. How he and Powell are so close (although Henderson certainly appears closer to him).

I don't think I could live with the junk they'd talk if they got him..........I can stand most homers, just not UF homers! (okay, or ND ones either).

There are a few UF guys (or possible) at the AA game though, Powell/Gerald Christian/Jaylen Watkins. I think that's about it, Christian and Watkins are on Floyd's East squad but based on reports there, neither have been even seen with him.

So then either he told random recruits or OSU recruits apparently, let's hope it's the former...
