The Game, tOSU at ttun, Nov. 27th,12pm FOX (3654 down to 0)

I love our passing game, but watching a team run it down your throats repeatedly - knowing it's coming - is demoralizing.

All of those 5 star toys are great, but you have to be able to man-up and stop the other guys at some point. Didn't come close to a stop after halftime.

They just didn't seem to have to will or ability to do that this year. I think a big part of that was Wypler IMO. He struggled at times probably due to being a freshman. Also think Henderson sitting out last year had him getting dinged up often.

I fully expect a more balance offense next year. They'll have 3-5 good or better RBs so it'll come down to how the OL develops. That has me slightly worried losing so many good players.

Anyone who complains too much should have to live the cooper years. That is all I have to say.

Explain why coaches getting paid 6 or 7 figures should have to subject their reviews to the Cooper years? The Cooper years didn’t make sense during the Cooper years, nor do they now. I remember the Cooper years. Tressel and Urban didn’t get us where we are by suggesting we just live with the Cooper years.

Guys, I am sorry.

Sorry today went down like it did. I think most here were worried today would turn out like it did.

But, from all Husker fans, I have to apologize - we didn't get it done either. If Martinez holds onto the ball with less than 3 minutes left....then this is just a charity case today.

Today sucks, but you all know what needs to be done. Unlike most places, you all have leaders that will pull the needed triggers.

You can pull the trigger. I can’t hold anymore still than I am right now.

Ok, I’m done.

But seriously just do it.

It was a Cooper Era offense by scUM that just took Ohio State's manhood though.

It actually is really concerning how our defense has been trending historically. Outside of the one year with Hafley it feels like we structurally don’t have the same emphasis there as we did even in the somewhat mediocre years between ‘05-‘14. Those teams apart from the Fickell season more often than not were tough to play against defensively.

nothing like a gut punch like today to draw the line in the sand on what is and is not acceptable for tOSU. Lest we become a program like Oklahoma that is wholly dependent on offense

Congrats to Michigan….perfect storm came together and they took advantage.

My biggest regret will be Day kind of not relying on our strengths and forcing the run game when it wasn’t there. Our intermediate game ate them up but we never really committed to it the way we should have.

I have no doubt on a neutral indoor field we beat them by 20+ but that isn’t how the game is set-up. They won, and they embarrassed us. Sucks. But to the Victor go the spoils. Day will have some soul searching on multiple fronts after this one.

How do we sure up the defense? How do we become better balanced on offense? Which coaches stay and go?

I’d still much rather be a Buckeye than anything else. Go Bucks.
This whole post a hundred times!
