The home computers are all a base OS of Windows XP SP3.
I have several virtual machines on the big PC which have both Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 7 as well as RHEL 5 and SuSE LINUX (both of those are for work stuff)....
I like some features of most of them. The Windows 2000 VM is for gaming, but XP has been the most stable over the longest period of time. Windows 7 is what VISTA should have been. Red Hat and SuSE are both for work as I said, but they are pretty good when it comes to things I specialize in now.
My parents use MACs and they love them.
