Phillips says he is still committed to Miami but got his "eyes opened". Coach Snyder and tOSU have been recruiting Randy for over a year.

tOSU's success putting DB's in the pro's and their ability to recruit players from his area has increased his interest in the Buckeyes.

The only thing that was strange for me was that their defensive coordinator, Reggie Herring, left when I was there--aside from that everything was great. "DaJuan Morgan (wide receiver) and Garland Heath (roverback) were my hosts. They're both from Florida and I know them both pretty well, especially, Heath, because we went to the same high school and played football together.

Could this be the reason as DaJuan Morgan was the guy that we pulled an offere from last year.
