Crawford participated in The Inaugural Kennedy/CES Southern Invitational brought the best of the Class of 2006 and 2007 from the state of Georgia and several top players from across state lines as well. Competitive Edge Sports conducted the testing for the combine to the same standards that are done at the NFL Combine, right down to the very same surface that is used in Indianapolis.

He He measured 6-5 and 181 pounds, and his 4.2 shuttle time was outstanding. He also threw in a 35 inch vertical and a terrific 4.66 forty time.

It's only a matter of time before someone compares this kid to Wesley Lyons, so I will just get that out of the way now. They are both lsited in the Rivals database at 6-6 200 lbs. with a 4.6+ 40 time. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

He is from the same high school of Jared Cook, the WR tOSU tried to get in on but ended up at South Carolina, and Kilpatrick's early list is almost identical to what Cook's ended up being. Wow, North Gwinnett had two 6'5" monster wideouts lining up on opposite ends this past season, that must have given opposing defenses headaches!

This kid looks solid and it seems he may be a bit more athletic than Welsey is right now. Once Wes gets comfortable with his new body, we will see how it plays out. But, I would have to say Crawford has the upper hand right now.

Crawford's top schools are Oklahoma, Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia, Ohio State and Florida. He said a factor in his decision will be his comfort level and the quarterback in his class, depth chart and offensive system. He does not have a leader at this point and plans on taking all five visits and then deciding.
